Check upload and processing progress

Understand the difference between transferring files and building viewable output.

Before you start

An upload or processed asset exists.

Who can do this

Members who can see the transfer or asset.

Text equivalent: Nimbus first transfers files from your device. It then extracts and builds viewable output. The core asset becomes Active when building finishes; optional image work can continue separately.

Steps

  1. Open the Transfer Center for file-transfer progress, or the asset detail page for the resulting asset.
  2. On the asset detail page, open Sources and Jobs to see which stage is active or failed.
  3. Wait for core output to become Active before relying on its preview. Optional image work may finish separately.
  4. If a stage fails, record the asset name and failed stage before retrying or contacting support.

What you should see

You know whether the transfer, core asset, or an optional job still needs attention.

If something goes wrong

  • An Active asset can remain usable when an optional image job failed.
  • If progress is stalled, check the transfer and jobs rather than repeatedly uploading the same files.
